Billing and Insurance

Prompt payment allows us to control costs. Outstanding accounts cost both time and money; therefore, you will be required to establish financial arrangements for the payment of your account.

We participate with many different insurance plans and will file primary and secondary claims for you. It is understood that the insurance policy is an agreement between the patient and the insurance company to pay certain amounts for medical care. It is your responsibility to know the details of your health insurance in regard to referrals, co-payments, and percentage of coverage.

We require co-payment at the time of your visit. If you do not have an office visit co-pay, we expect 20% payment on charged services. In addition to checks and cash, we accept VISA MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Obstetrical patients will meet with Patient Account Services by their 2nd OB visit to set up a payment plan. They will assist you in estimating the out-of-pocket expenses. It is our policy to have that amount paid by the end of the 8th month unless other financial arrangements have been made.

Surgical patients will meet with the surgical coordinator at the time of the pre-op to finalize payment plans and to complete the final paper work prior to surgery.
